We run small-group trips out of Szczecin, in the north-west corner of Poland. The day trips cover three areas — the city, the West Pomeranian coast and lagoon, and the German side over the border — all inside a two-hour drive. The longer trips go further: across Germany and up into Scandinavia.

A licensed operator, not a side hustle
Magnolia Club is entered in Poland's Central Register of Tour Operators under number 35327, with the tourist guarantee and insurance that entry requires. You get a written contract. You can look the number up yourself.
Groups that are actually small
Twenty people is the ceiling, not the target — most departures run with fewer. It is small enough that everyone can hear the answer to someone else's question, and small enough to change the plan on the day.
Local, and not from a script
We live here. The routes are ours — walked first, then written — and the photographs on this site are our own. Where the history is contested, we say so rather than smoothing it over.
Slow travel
Fewer stops, longer at each one. We would rather do one palace properly than five at a jog, and we build in the time to sit down. It is the whole reason the company exists.

Moving through a place in a crowd of fifty stopped being worth the ticket.
I spent years in management, in tourism and then in the public sector here in Szczecin. Alongside that I travelled — Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia — usually with a camera and a loose plan.
The trips I remember are the slow ones. At some point the coach version stopped being worth it: you arrive, you are counted, you photograph the thing, you leave. So I started running the trips I wanted to be on instead. Small groups, fewer stops, and enough time at each one to stand still.

Private, groups and partners
Not everyone arrives on a Tuesday.
Three arrangements that sit outside the scheduled departures. All three start with the request form — or an email to biuro@magnoliaclub.com.pl if you prefer.
Cruise and ferry passengers
Calling at Świnoujście or Szczecin? We build the day around your departure time rather than ours, and we plan to be back at the gangway with an hour in hand.
Send us the ship, the date and the sailing time. We will send back what fits.
Private and corporate groups
Up to twenty people, on your date, with transport arranged. Family groups, company trips, conference add-ons and anything that does not fit a public departure.
We quote per group, not per head, so the price does not move if someone drops out.
Hotels and local partners
If you put guests in front of us regularly, a standing arrangement works better than a booking each time — a fixed slot in the week, printed cards at your desk, commission agreed in writing.

How do I book?

Where is Szczecin, exactly?
North-west corner of Poland, on the Oder, twelve kilometres from the German border. Berlin is about ninety minutes away by car and a little over two hours by train. The Baltic coast is under two hours north.
It is a city of roughly 400,000 people with a Prussian street plan, a working port, and far fewer visitors than Gdańsk or Kraków.
Can I join from Berlin?
Our scheduled departures start in Szczecin. For a private date that starts in Berlin instead, use the request form — pick "Private date" and say where you are staying.
The rest start in Szczecin. If you are coming over for the day, write to us and we will tell you which train to take and where to meet.
What if the weather is bad?
We run anyway. This is the Baltic — a good half of the year is grey, and waiting for better weather would mean not going. Dress for it and it is fine.
If conditions make a particular stop unsafe or pointless, we swap it for something else on the day. We only cancel outright for genuinely unsafe weather, and then you get the full amount back.
Do you run trips elsewhere in Europe?
Yes — multi-day trips across Germany and Scandinavia, in the same small-group format. Those are currently sold in Polish only, on the main site.
